New Year’s has been celebrated for a long time, ever since the advent of calendars. It is often used as a time to reflect on the past year and develop goals for the upcoming year, but perhaps more often, it as used as a reason to party and celebrate.
While nowadays, everyone watches New Year’s on TV or is at a club or party, in past generations, postcards were a great way to share the New Year with other people. As such, New Year’s postcard printing was a highly popular service to help spread holiday cheer.
