There is an ongoing debate between designers about the originality involved in using custom made brushes. They save time and help make designing easier, but they also detract some originality from the artwork. However, I’m of the opinion that as long as you create something unique with the brush, then true artistry still lies with the creator, not with the brush. However, what do you think? There really is no difference using brushes and using clay to make pots. You use the materials on hand to create your artwork. If this means that some of the elements are premade, then so be it.
As long as the artist isn’t taking someone elses work and claming it as their own that it. I would never cut an image out of another image and use it in my own stuff.
