Cyril Rolando is a 24 year old artist from Paris, France. A clinician psychologist by trade, he also draws for fun, focusing primarily on the human emotions. Despite never attending art school, Cyril’s work shines through as creative and surreal. His inspiration comes from his experiences as a psychologist, and from Time Burton and Hayao Miyazaki. About his artwork, he writes “This is a return to childhood, where animals can speak, dreams become reality and imagination rules the world.”
In this post, we’ll look at 40 creative, interesting, weird and bizarre paintings from Cyril. His work resembles a surreal form of painting, though his work pushes the boundaries of every style.

Christopher Haines is a graphic designer from Perth, Australia, who has a long held passion for all things art and design. His primary styles of digital art range from typography, photomanipulation, to 3D matte painting and surreal landscapes. Patrik Hjelm, also known as UnidColor, is a digital artist and painter from Sweden, who is incredibly talented and has quite frankly some of the best digital artworks I’ve seen. A fan of a variety of fantasy games, he lists Blizzard games among his favorites, which is evident in his fantasy themed works that often reflect Diablo, Warcraft, and other titles. Patrik is skilled at both character illustration and environment painting, as is evident from his works.
