Hello again everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend and were able to enjoy a little rest. Today it’s Monday, so for most of us, that means back to work or school, but it also means it’s time for another best of the web from last week!
Last week had a couple really awesome inspirational roundups and artist features (and not just the ones I posted). Additionally, SixRevisions did a great blog design tutorial, and of course, Abduzeedo came through with another awesome case study, this one by the legendary Peter Jaworowski. So be sure to check all these great posts out, and then check back tomorrow because I’m gonna keep bringing you some awesome posts.

Well, I’m back from my vacation so get ready for some new posts this week.
But first, “Web Picks” is now known as “Best of the Week”. Therefore, it’s time for Best of the Week #27, where I roundup some of the best posts in the graphic design world from the previous week. This week has some great inspirational posts, as well as some really cool and professional tutorials.

Mobile Phone Ads – Tutorials and Inspiration

Ever since the advent of mobile phones, a different advertising style has emerged to accompany them. Because of the smaller size of mobile phones, it is possible to do significant artwork to accompany the phone. The screen also adds an additional area for a design.
Today, we’re going to look at the best tutorials out there for creating a mobile phone from scratch, and then adding other effects to help make it into a product advertisement.
Lastly, we’re going to feature some eye-catching inspiration to help give you something to aim for. Hopefully you enjoy it, and if you have anything you want to see, leave a comment and let us know.
