Best of the Web #38

priscilla-queen-of-the-desertHello again everyone, hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed some time off (or got a lot of work done if you’re a workaholic like me).  Monday is here again, even though it seems like it was yesterday, so that means it’s time for Best of the Web #38.

Last week was a busy week around the design community, a lot of posts and information were created, so it was pretty hard to keep up with it all.  There were some really great inspirational roundups of a variety of forms of digital art, along with an invaluable list of tips on dealing with bad clients (which we all have dealt with a time or two).  Also, there was a great roundup of icon tutorials by a new design blog in the community.

So be sure to check out all the posts below, and check back tomorrow because I’ll have some more awesome posts coming this week, along with the launch of some new sites I’ve been working on for awhile.

Have a great day everyone, and take a moment to breathe, relax and enjoy life.

Best of the Web #37

thumbHello again everyone, hopefully you had a great weekend, although I’m sure everyone would have been happy if the weekend had an extra day.

It’s time for best of the web again, where I roundup the best posts from the previous week that are worth checking out.  It’s hard to believe that we’re already up to #37.  This past week had some really great photography roundups, as well as some great collection of inspiration and tips for web designers.

Hopefully you enjoy the posts, and if you have any suggestions that should be added to the list, let me know in the comments!

Thanks all, have a great start to the week, and check back later this week for some more awesome posts!

Best of the Web #33

thumbWelcome back, hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  University resumed today for me, which is always exciting but also frustrating at the same time.  But with any change comes some new inspiration, so hopefully you’ll enjoy this week’s posts.

Since it’s Monday, we have another edition of Best of the Web.  This past week had some cool roundups of awesome images and CG portraits, as well as a really cool historical look at the evolution of Pixar.  Also, there’s a neat 3D application called Vizerra, which allows you to virtually tour a bunch of historic sites.  It’s pretty cool.  And as always, there’s some great tutorials.  So I hope you all enjoy it, and stay tuned this week for some more awesome posts.

Have a great start to your week.
