It is human nature to crave for power and there is no limit to this craving. The desire to be supreme and successful has led human mind to discover and invent many things. Superheroes are also a result of this craving for power but it would be wrong to call them a solo result of this craving for power. Creativity is the another part that completes the picture when you think of a list of superheroes. Combination of craving for power and creativity, these dynamic super heroes are imaginative entities all of us love to admire. So, here is a list that honors these superheroes who are no less than real life characters for those who are crazy after them.

1. Batman

Creation of Bob Kane and Bill Finger, Batman is a comic book character and made his entry in 1939. He is also known as “The Dark Knight”, “The Caped Crusader” and “The World’s Greatest Detective”. Several movies have been made on him and he epitomizes the fight against crime.

Spiderman is the creation of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko which first appeared in 1962 as a comic book character. Created in 1962 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Hulk is a giant green humanoid who possesses immense powers but he is also vulnerable when he flies into a rage. He is also known as “Jade Jaws” and “Golly Green Giant”. People like him as much for his strengths as for his weaknesses.

The strong and sturdy Iron Man is the creation of Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck and Jack Kirby. Though he is kidnapped to serve an evil purpose, he goes on to build an iron suit for himself and escapes the plot, moving on further to save the world from evil and crime. He is not only strong but also sexy and thus, a hit among women as well.

Based on the God Thor from the Norse mythology, Thor is the creation of Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby. He wears a red cape and tight-fitting blue skin suit. After discovering his powers, he transforms into a thunder God and sets out on the journey to protect humanity from the evil forces.

Created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, the fictional character of Captain America possesses a strong patriotic touch. He wears the American national flag motif on his costume and thus, there are many who look up to him as a savior.

This comic book superhero first appeared in 1962 and has become very popular since its inception. He symbolizes truth, honesty, power and glory. He is hired by the CIA to help the agency but after discovering that he is being trapped, he starts questioning them and carves his own path.

10. Green

Green

This superhero first appeared in 1940 and is actually the name of several superheroes. The chief characteristic of the superheroes is that all of them are blessed with a power ring and they can create strong constructs with this particular ring.

11. Goku

The cute Goku is a Japanese superhero who is based on the character of Sun Wukong from the famous Chinese novel “Journey to the West”. The monkey-tailed boy is highly trained in martial arts and as he grows, he transforms into a formidable warrior and protects his adopted home planet.

12. Black Bolt

Black Bolt

Creation of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Black Bolt is quite distinct from other superheroes in that he does not possess any weapons but still possesses a very potent weapon. The weapon is his voice that can send others flying away in a jiffy.
