We interrupt your regularly scheduled Best of the Week series to bring you some breaking news.  CreativeFan, a new network aimed at creatively-oriented people, launched today, and will be updating frequently with tools, resources, inspiration, freebies and more.  It’s a side project of mine that is designed to complement PresidiaCreative (which, as you might have noticed, has moved more towards inspiration and artist features).  CreativeFan will be more focused on guest authors, and there will be associated tutorial sites, all free of course.  If you’re interested in being a guest author, there’s information on the site.

My apologies for the downtime over the past few days.  Due to the growing popularity of my posts, I was forced to upgrade hosting.  I am now on a dedicated server that should be more than able to handle the growing number of users.  The regular posting will resume tomorrow, and I’ll do my best to continue bringing you the best in creative and inspirational content.

At some point tomorrow (hopefully), Presidia Creative will be changing domains from http://www.presidiastudios.com/blog/ to http://www.presidiacreative.com (there’s nothing there yet, just giving a notice to everyone in advance).  Since the blog has taken off rather well, Presidia decided to dedicate a domain to the blog.  This transition should go smoothly and should not affect blog readers, as the blog will merely be transferred, pointers set up to redirect old posts, and Feedburner will be updated accordingly.  However, we request that you be patient with the changeover, and to update your blog readers if necessary once the new domain is set up.  Hopefully we see you over there!

In efforts to get the blog into a rhythm with its readers, Presidia has decided to formalize the posting schedule.  From now on, posts will follow a more regular pattern with regards to content.  Initially, the lineup will look as follows:

• Monday – Linking to other great tutorials.
• Tuesday – A new original post (such as the 3D Vectors and Typography post).
• Wednesday – Weekly image inspiration.
• Thursday – A new original post.
• Friday – Featured designer.

Hopefully this helps everyone know what to expect on a given day.  If you would like to see more or less of a certain style, please leave a comment, as Presidia values your feedback.  Also, if you have any submissions you’d like to make, Presidia would love to hear from you.

Presidia Creative is launching into alpha mode. Most functionality is not yet enabled, but we’ll begin test driving content and plugins soon.
