55 Incredible Product Advertisements You Haven’t Seen

thumbAdvertisements are everywhere.  On the back of cereal boxes, on the sides of busses, on billboards, in magazines, on TV, and, of course, the internet.  It’s funny, most people spend a lot of energy trying to avoid advertisements, but in the world of graphic design, advertisements allow us to look at a specific product or service and see the message that is conveyed through the advertisement.

Today, we have 55 incredible product advertisements from deviantART that you haven’t seen, but are extraordinary examples of how creative and meaningful advertising should be done.

If you liked this post, please share it with your friends so they can see it too.  Have a great day everyone, and if you ever have feedback or just want to chat, send me a message with the contact form.

Some of those are really cool. Where do you find all those?

  2. Brukhar July 1, 2009 at 1:25 pm #

I’m pretty active on some design communities, notably deviantART, where I basically browse around and create “collections”, such as web design, graphic design, space art, etc. Then when I feel like writing a post about it (or if someone asks for a post about it), I find the appropriate collection, choose some of the ones that fit, and then write it up. :)

There are some great ideas, but most of them are ghost ads, right?

  4. Brukhar July 1, 2009 at 2:33 pm #

Correct, most of them are just done for practice or other reasons and won’t be seen in print, with the exception of the ones done by he1z (Peter Jaworowski).

Those ads are sick! (and I mean sick in a good, cool way) I wish I can do something like those. Thanks for sharing them, it made my day! :)

Some of the ads are really impressive.
Especially the mobiserve ad is my favourite.

    Thanks!

The problem with these kind of work is that it’s often looks before idea. Many of the ads are very beatifully crafted, but they simply lack an idea.

  13. Jason July 2, 2009 at 8:44 am #

All these advertisements look the same, like they have been reading to many abdudeezo tutorials.

    Where has originality gone?

  14. pamelisha July 2, 2009 at 6:11 pm #

I think there´s not a lack of creativity… design is about finding what your consumer is going to stop and stare and, hopefully, remember.

This ads are constructed with a very similar “line” because that’s the tendency of the market needs

  15. Marketing Meerkat July 3, 2009 at 1:58 am #

wow – some of them are really cool

  16. Phaoloo July 3, 2009 at 3:03 am #

Great list, thanks for compiling them

  17. willwright July 3, 2009 at 8:36 am #

Same old rubbish: looks over content stuff… People think advertising is about supa-dupa-techy-ilustrations… Want to see REALLY good adverts? Check what went on at Cannes Lions. That’s the real life.
And yes, I work with advertising.

I notice a lot of photo treatments but no real illustration done by the artist? Trend or coincidence?

  27. Brukhar July 23, 2009 at 2:21 pm #

I think it’s a growing trend with the increase in stock photo services.

  28. John Gallagher July 24, 2009 at 4:52 am #

Stunning collection. I love the Tiger beer ad by Archan Nair. He is simply amazing!

  29. Raul Osorio July 27, 2009 at 1:27 pm #

My only problem with these is that while they are very well done in a technical sense, they all look very similar. As if done by the same person.

While yes, they do attract attention initially, they lose their luster quite easily among all the other well thought out advertisements.

  30. Luitgii July 29, 2009 at 1:45 am #

    Muy buenosss !!!

  31. e11world September 11, 2009 at 11:40 am #

All I have to say is WOW!! Who ever created these has serious talent.

  32. Brian Stanfill June 17, 2010 at 2:42 am #

With a few exceptions, these aren’t great examples of advertising; they are great examples of digital art. That’s why they appear in portfolios instead of in the media. The few that stand out as great advertisements for their products speak an idea, convey a thought, or carry a well known and recognized brand message with the help of the eye candy.

Classy work really i enjoyed this list

Nothing really jumps out at me. They are beautiful, but the idea behing the design is pretty much non-existent with the majority of these ads. The concept or message is just as important as all the frills that the designers throw in.

  35. Leaflet Distribution London July 5, 2011 at 12:04 pm #

I like the Justine Timberlake advertisement and the Got milk. Keep up the good work guys. You are fantastic. More power.

  36. Online Printing August 13, 2011 at 9:52 am #

These are some amazing product ads. It’s impressive how much creativity and artistic ability went into each ad. I wonder how much some of these ads cost; I’m sure they weren’t cheap to create. I agree with the previous comment; the Justin Timberlake advertisement is a powerful and creative ad (and would make a great t-shirt). I really like ‘Leaving Abstract’ from an aesthetic perspective. And, “Clorets Breath Seduction” is pretty funny with the crocodile breathing on the duck and the duck isn’t flying away (because that crocodile has great breath).
