Zutto is a digital illustrator, artist and character designer from Miass, Russia. He works primarily with illustrations for print and t-shirt design, and for character design. His use of creative concepts in vector form, along with the color is incredibly creative, and the characters he creates are alive with personality.

Why is it that whenever I see a list of “creative” or “awesome” illustrations, it often tends to be in this cutesy, overused and childish style? Illustration is not limited to this ridiculous fantasy lisa frank bauhaus combo.

I think it’s due to the popularity of online t-shirt sites like threadless, where this style is often used in designs. This certainly isn’t the only kind of illustration (check out the ones by Michael Dashow for example.)
