24 Breathtaking Character Illustrations by Ryan Wood

thumbRyan Wood is a digital painter from Salt Lake City, Utah with an incredibly unique style and form for character illustration, somewhat resembling a caricature.   His style exaggerates various features, while expressing the character’s true form and identity.  From Mario to Elvis, from evil witches to abominable snowmen, Ryan’s creative and unique mind continues to dazzle his audience again and again.

Today, it’s my pleasure to share with you 24 of Ryan’s amazing works that showcase some of his work and creative style.  Each piece was hand selected for it’s incredible character illustration and unique depiction of an identifiable character.  If you like his work, be sure to check out his blog, located here: http://woodyart.blogspot.com/

I hope you like his work, and if you do, please share it with your friends using your favorite social network.  Thank you all for another great week, and have a great weekend!

I was using StumbleUpon and came across this page. and realized that i’ve seen all of the Tak and the Power of Juju art before! I worked on the 3D tv show and admired your art intensely! I didnt know who had done it, but everyone here at Nickelodeon loved it! I wish a whole tv show could be done in 2d with that much detail. GREAT DESIGNS! and i appreciate your skill
