Chip Phillips is a professional musician and photographer from Spokane, Washington. When his father gave him an old Pentax Spotmatic SLR film camera, he quickly became hooked on the unique challenges of photography. He is most passionate about landscape photography, and will often spend hours waiting for the perfect shot.
His photographs capture the true beauty of nature, and his attention to detail and passion for perfection shine through in each image. Even as the world becomes more and more developed, it’s refreshing to see photographs that still capture the rawness of our planet.

Best of the Web #45
Nov 16, 2009 Best of the Web
Good afternoon (or other variant based on where you are), and welcome to another edition of best of the web. This past week had a lot of photography roundups, everything from out-of-bounds style to tilt-shift photography. Also, there were two interesting tutorials on comic and cartoon style illustrations. My personal favorite post was a review of Photoshop brushes by SmashingMagazine, but of course, all the posts from past week that are included here are pretty good and definitely worth seeing.
Anyways, hope you all like, and as always, if you have any comments or suggestions for me, or want to contribute, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Have a great day!
