thumbInterfaces are everywhere.  Windows, Linux, OS-X all have their own unique interface.  Each application has its own interface.  However, amidst the mediocrity that users have come to expect with interfaces, there are some artists pushing the very boundaries of design and usability to bring some of the most spectacular user interfaces available.

Today, we have 12 totally cool interfaces that everyone wishes their applications actually looked like.

    It seems like a recurring theme of web 2.0 interfaces is the use of actual display interfaces (computers, tv’s, iPhones, car radios, etc.) to display web content and web apps. While this style makes it easier for users to adapt to a new interface, it is also a step backward in terms of design interfaces. Good work all the same!
